THE Burnley board are ready and willing to talk to representatives of the various supporters' clubs in a bid to ensure a brighter future for everyone with Turf Moor interests at heart.
In a statement issued by the board today, a specific invitation has been made to all the recognised supporters' branches, including the Clarets Independent Supporters' Association which has been prominent in calling for more liaison between club and fans.
The supporters' groups are bound to welcome the opportunity to sit round the table with the board, especially at such an important stage of the season.
Defeat at Darlington was a body blow, leaving Burnley out of both major cup competitions and in the lower half of Division Two.
The statement said: "The directors of Burnley FC are to invite two representatives from the respective committees of all the recognised supporters' clubs for a meeting with them next Tuesday, November 24.
"It will be an open discussion to hear their views and to look to the future of the club.
"If they contact Mrs Alison Loftus in our commercial department with details of their nominated committee men, their representatives can be registered."
All the directors, including chairman Frank Teasdale, are expected to attend the talks.
